AVRO operates on the private airfield ” Nino Pittini” of Rivoli di Osoppo, the airfield abandoned after the war has been adapted and paved by the Lualdi Foundation to be used by the general aviation, that is: from two-seater ultralight aircraft or aircraft capable of carrying up to 6 people. The facilities are available for the training of all those professional figures that today are required by civil aviation, mechanics, pilots, assistants and flight controllers.

The structure has interesting features to help further grow both the system of civil protection for emergencies and that of health. The landing area is in fact located a short distance from both the city and the mountain of Friuli. Founded as a sailing club in 1976 aims to restart in the sector, large investments are aimed at relaunching the gliding flight.
